Pour Over

Pour-over coffee brewing is exactly what it sounds like. Using a filter cone, you simply pour hot water over coffee grounds to brew a single cup of coffee.

EQUIPMENT & SUPPLIES NEEDED
CORSA LUSSO COFFEE
COFFEE DRIPPER
KETTLE
Grinder
Digital Scale

Step 1

BOIL 600 GRAMS OF WATER.
GRIND 30 GRAMS OF COFFEE TO A MEDIUM CONSISTENCY. ADJUST COFFEE QUANTITY TO TASTE.


Step 2

INSERT FILTER INTO THE DRIPPER. RINSE FILTER WITH WATER FROM THE KETTLE AND DISCARD WATER.
ADD COFFEE GROUNDS TO FILTER AND SHAKE TO LEVEL THEM.
PLACE THE DRIPPER ABOVE A CARAFE OR CUP. PLACE THESE ITEMS ON A SCALE.


Step 3

Starting in the middle and working your way outwards, begin pouring 60 grams of water onto the grounds.
Allow the coffee to sit for 30 seconds to bloom.
AFTER 30 SECONDS, POUR 200 GRAMS OF WATER IN A CIRCULAR MOTION.
ONCE THE WATER HAS PERCOLATED THROUGH THE GROUNDS, REPEAT THIS PROCESS IN 200 GRAM INCREMENTS.
